Updated 2012 Political Odds Favor Mitt Romney To Win Republican Nomination As Super Tuesday Approaches

Filed under: Political Betting Odds |

Well, it appears that Mitt Romney is a step closer to winning the nomination for the Republican Party for the 2012 Presidential Election against Barrack Obama.

Though it was rather surprising in the fact that Romney barely took his native state of Michigan in the Primary on Wednesday.

In Arizona, he took it easily.

But Michigan, it was just a three-point win over Rick Santorum, which has definitely been a subject of talking points in the national media and social outlets.

Call it what it is, but the fact of the matter is that at this point, the Republican party cannot feel good about their chances to oust Obama from office come the election in November.

But oddsmakers on online sportsbooks are quite sure that Romney will be the nominee, with Super Tuesday less than a week away when in all likelihood, the nominee will be decided.

And if you’re looking to place a wager on the political events ongoing in the country these days with respect to the election and/or nomination, then those betting lines available at Bovada Sportsbook have got you covered.

The Latest Political Betting Odds at Bovada have set Romney as a 2/11 favorite to win the Republican nomination for President of the United States.

Santorum has fallen back to 5/1.

Probably because people have stark opinions on his social views, and morals.

But the fact of the matter, is that we still don’t know who the nominee will be, and it doesn’t bode well for the party that we are this far into the process, an the party is this conflicted, and appear as if they don’t have a candidate to get behind.

But watch that change once the nominee is named. Then the party will unite behind the candidate, or at least on outward appearances they will.

Getting back to the betting lines though, Bovada also has several other lines outside of the Republican nominee on their Political page, including which party will be elected for President, as well as the odds to be the next President and more.

So be sure to check these odds out!
