There a four Champions League Round of 16 matches that highlight the UEFA schedule this week, beginning on Tuesday, February 25. Two matches each will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, determining which clubs will move on and advance.
Betting lines for all games are available at Bovada Sportsbook. This includes the moneyline for the straight up winner, the goal line spread, and the over/under goal total.
The basic game lines are only the beginning of what can be found for each game. Among the most-popular set of betting lines include the alternate spreads. The alternate spreads give the opportunity for different payouts. Both teams will be set in the role of the favorite with various handicaps.
The first game on the slate matches Zenit Saint-Petersburg and Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday beginning at 12 pm ET. Fox Sports 1 will be on the coverage of this matchup + the other matchup on Tuesday in Champions League action. This game will be played at Petrovsky Stadium in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Bovada Sportsbook has the moneyline (straight up wager to win) in favor of Borussia Dortmund (-120). This betting line means that every $1.20 wagered on Borussia Dortmund to win will profit $1. On the flip side, a wager on Zenit Saint-Petersburg is paying out +330 as a big underdog in the contest.
The second game of Tuesday (Feb 25) will get underway at 2:30 pm ET on Fox Sports 1. Olympiacos FC will meet Manchester United FC. Like in the first matchup, there is a large disparity on the moneyline between the two. Manchester United is a big favorite in the game to win outright. However, aside from this betting line there are the goal-lines + alternate spreads that can be wagered as well. Outcomes range from Manchester United being a 1/2-goal favorite to Olympiacos being a 1/2-goal favorite. The wide margin on the payouts give those interested plenty of different scenarios.
As the calendar flips to Wednesday, two more critical matchups get going, the first of which starts at 2:30 pm ET on FOX Soccer Plus. FC Schalke will take on Real Madrid FC from Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Bovada already has the betting lines available for this matchup, including alternate spreads.
As expected, Real Madrid is a huge favorite to win and advance through. FC Schalke is a +600 (6 to 1) underdog in the matchup straight up. A bet on Real Madrid is going off at -230. There are a number of team + player props available for this one as well. Bovada makes it easy to go back and forth between the game lines and props for all four matchups. Props gives an added element of outcomes to wager.
The final of the four big showdowns this week in the Champions League gets underway at 2:45 pm ET on Wednesday. Coverage can be seen on Fox Sports 2. Chelsea vs. Galatasaray SK from Istanbul presents the more evenly matched game of the day on paper. Still, Chelsea is a solid -115 favorite compared to the +330 payout that Galatasaray is receiving.
Below, LatestBettingOdds.com has the complete list of game lines + links to prop odds that can be found for all four of these matchups. Be sure to check them out and get in on the action. Game times are listed in ET in accordance with how long the odds will be up.
