2013 Wimbledon Women’s Odds To Win Reformed For Semifinal Matches

Filed under: Tennis Betting Odds |

Wimbledon 2013The 2013 Wimbledon tournament has been one of surprises and upsets, extending to both the men’s and women’s draw. There is not an American player left in the field, which is extremely surprising considering that Serena Williams came into the third Grand Slam of 2013 as the heavy favorite, fresh off of a win at the French Open.

The women’s draw has reached the semifinals, and of the four remaining players you would have been hard-pressed to pick them prior to the start of the tournament, with the exception of perhaps No.4 seed Agnieszka Radwanska.

The player who ousted Williams in the fourth round, Sabine Lisicki, is the new favorite atop 2013 Wimbledon betting odds found at Bovada Sportsbook. The semifinals for the women will take place on Thursday, July 4th. The championship match will then get underway on Saturday, July 6th.

The interesting thing about Lisicki being the favorite to win Wimbledon is the fact that she is the highest remaining seed of the four semifinalists. And to add to that, she is going up against Radwanska in the semifinal match. Radwanska made it to the 2012 Wimbledon final, as she comes in right behind Lisicki on the betting line to win it all. So it’s clear that oddsmakers are favoring whoever wins this semifinal match. Radwanska is going off at 5/2 on the payout.

The odds don’t jump up too much for the other two though. Marion Bartoli has been set at 4/1 to win Wimbledon, with Kirsten Flipkens installed at 13/2 to round out the last of the semifinalists.

Bovada is favoring a Lisicki vs. Bartoli 2013 Wimbledon Women’s final judging by these betting odds.

Diving into the specific semifinal match betting odds, this is made evident. But both matches are very close. Lisicki is set at -180 on the betting line to get the win and advance to the final, while Radwanska is going off at +140 on the other side of the payout.

For the second semifinal, Bartoli is installed at -165 to move forward, with Flipkens set at +125 to pull off the minor upset.

Betting odds for the semifinal matches will be available up until the start of each, along with a variety of prop odds as well. LatestBettingOdds.com has provided you with the individual match odds below.
