Busch has been slated at 15/2 on the odds to win the STP Gas Booster, which is good enough for second on the list. At the top, is Jimmie Johnson. Johnson does have a history of success here at this speedway, winning first in 2007, and then again in 2009. This would be his victory first at the STP Gas Booster 500 in four years.

Had it not been for the spinal injury he suffered a couple of weeks ago, it is likely that Denny Hamlin would have been the leading favorite, or at the very least in the top-five. Hamlin has two victories here, coming in 2008 and 2010. Hamlin is scheduled to be out for at least five weeks as he tries to recover and rehab. Johnson and Hamlin had traded off victories for four years from 2007-2010.

The only other driver to win this race since 2006 on the list in the field is Kevin Harvick. Harvick is back at 14/1 this week though, with several drivers between him and Johnson at the top.

Among the notable names to pay attention to, we have Brad Keselowski and Jeff Gordon, who are installed at 17/2 and 8/1 respectively, as the closest drivers on the betting lines behind the top-two favorites.

Tony Stewart squeezes in into the top-five on the betting favorites for the STP Gas Booster as well, going off at 11/1.

There are a number of drivers between 12/1 and 14/1, including Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kasey Kahne, Clint Bowyer, and Matt Kenseth.

The race at Martinsville Speedway will be held this Sunday, April 7th, beginning at 1pm ET. FOX will have the coverage.
