UFC 150 Edgar vs Henderson II: Fight Preview and Betting Odds

Filed under: MMA Betting Odds |

MMA takes center stage on Saturday night as UFC 150 is on tap in Denver, Colorado at the Pepsi Center. Many bouts are on the schedule but the most compelling fight of the night will arguably be the rematch between Benson Henderson and Frankie Edgar.

The first time these two squared off at UFC 144 it was Henderson (16-2) who walked away from the fight as the new lightweight king.  Edgar seemed to be in control of the fight for the first two rounds but a strong kick by Henderson turned the whole aura of the fight.  From then on, he dominated and won on the judge’s scorecard.

Now, Edgar (14-2-1) will look to get revenge from the previous meeting, a fight he felt he should have won.  This marks his fifth straight title bout as he looks to win back his title and more importantly show that he is the better fighter as he claimed following their last bout.

Bovada Sportsbook has filed their Edgar vs Henderson 2 Betting Odds and feel that Henderson will win once again.  He has his moneyline set at -225 while Edgar is at +175.

Wagering on Edgar will reap the higher rewards should he pull of the upset. For every $1.00 wagered on Edgar, the payout is $1.70.  As for wagering on Henderson, the payout is just .48 cents.

In addition to wagering on the overall outcome of the fight, Bovada has fielded some great UFC 150 Prop Bets to wager on as well.  These include everything from betting on the total number of rounds to method of victory.  One example is Will The Fight Go The Distance.  Oddsmakers feel that is will and have the line set at -280 for a YES wager and +190 for NO.

Many other fights are scheduled for Saturday’s event and their odds can also be found at Bovada.
