Tennessee Titans vs Arizona Cardinals Week 3 NFL Preseason Odds

Filed under: NFL Betting Odds |

The Arizona Cardinals and the Tennessee Titans matchup in Week 3 of the NFL Preseason on Thursday night. With Jake Locker named the starter for the regular season for the Titans this week, we expect him to get some significant playing time in this match up with the Cardinals.

The team announced on Monday that Locker, the second-year player out of Washington who was taken in the first round in 2011, will start this season over veteran Matt Hasselbeck.

So now, in his newly earned role, it will be interesting to see how Locker and the team respond having settled the issue at quarterback. There is no question that Locker has the big arm and mobility in the pocket to be successful, but we will see how much he has learned and progressed from year one to year two

Arizona has quarterback issues of their own between John Skelton and Kevin Kolb. Neither has appeared to have separated themselves from the other, with this third exhibition matchup likely being very important in Ken Whisenhunt’s decision.

With the starters typically playing the majority of the third game in the preseason, oddsmakers might peg these match ups as most closely to that of a regular season game. Preseason games are sometimes hard to set lines for given the nature of them.

It’s Tennessee that gets the slight edge over Arizona in this match up on NFL Preseason Week 3 Betting Odds available at Bovada Sportsbook. It’s clear oddsmakers are putting their faith in Locker. Either that, or they have little faith in Arizona.

To cover, the Titans will need to win by at least four points, with a win by a field-goal or less giving the win against the spread to the Cardinals.

This game can be seen live on ESPN on Thursday night at 8pm ET. As such, Bovada will also be fielding live wagers in their Live betting Section in their sportsbook.
