2012 Coke Zero 400 Prop Betting Odds

Filed under: NASCAR Betting Odds |

Daytona International Speedway has been kind to Matt Kenseth this year.  He was the winner of the Daytona 500 and in qualifying for Saturday night’s Coke Zero 400 on Friday, he put himself in good position for a Daytona sweep as he won the pole.

Kenseth currently leads in the Sprint Cup points standings but has not won a Sprint Cup race since the win at Daytona back in late February.  He currently sits 11 points behind second place holder Dale Earnhardt Jr.

With the way these two have been racing this year, it should come as no surprise that they headline Bovada’s Coke Zero 400 Betting Odds as both have their odds set at 9/1 to win Saturday night’s race.  Tony Stewart enters with 10/1 odds while Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch are all at 12/1.

In addition to wagering on the overall race results, Bovada has fielded some great Coke Zero 400 Prop Bets to bet on as well.  These wagers range in variety such as betting on the total number of caution flags.  In this bet by Bovada. the line is set at 7 1/2 total caution flags and a wager can be placed on whether the total will be OVER or UNDER.  If there are 8 then the bet goes to the OVER.  Seven total flags goes to the UNDER.

Also available, Bovada has fielded bets for finishing positions for the drivers.  A finishing position is set for each driver and a bet can be placed on the OVER/UNDER with a moneyline set for each.  For Saturday’s race, each one is set at -115 for both the OVER and UNDER.  The payout for every $1.00 wagered will be .87 cents for the -115 moneyline.

Finally, Bovada has fielded some group bets.  Five drivers are placed in a group and a bet is placed on which one will finish higher out of that group.  An example is below…

Sprint Cup – Coke Zero 400 – Group 1 Winner

Dale Earnhardt Jr.        +325
Matt Kenseth              +325
Kevin Harvick              +350

Coverage for the Coke Zero 400 is set for 7:30 pm ET and can be seen live on TNT.
