After the first three games was smooth sailing for the Los Angeles Kings, we all but assumed that they would wrap up the Stanley Cup Finals and win the championship over the New Jersey Devils. But the Devils have fought and clawed their way back to win the last two games and draw the series at 3-2.

Now, a very important Game 6 on Los Angeles’ home ice takes place on Monday night, with the potential for the series to be knotted at 3-3.

It’s really one of the surprises of the sports world recently, as the Kings were playing just fantastic hockey through the playoffs up to taking a 3-0 series lead and on the verge of a sweep. But it’s clearly a whole new ball game now, and you have to believe that Los Angeles feels an immense amount of pressure despite still being just one victory away from winning it all.

Oddsmakers are siding with the Kings in this one, believing that they will close out the series and win the championship on their home ice on Monday night.

Kings vs Devils Game 6 Betting Odds available at Bovada Sportsbook have set Los Angeles as -165 favorites on the moneyline to win the game. New Jersey comes in on the other side of the betting line at +145 on the amount wagered in the role of the underdog.

Then we have the goal line, for which the Kings will need to cover the 1.5 goal with at least a two-goal victory. Since Los Angeles is not favored to win by at least two goals, they are paying out +190 to do so. That is just about 2/1 on the amount wagered. On the other side of the NHL betting line, the Devils are going off at -230 to cover with a loss by one goal or a win straight up.

The over/under goal total has been set at 4.5 goals.
