Chad Ochocinco Betting Odds Formed After Being Released From New England Patriots

Filed under: NFL Betting Odds |

Wide receiver Chad Ochocinco was released from the New England Patriots earlier this week, ending what was just a one-year relationship.

It wasn’t exactly a good year for the wide receiver, as he only caught just 15 passes for 276 yards and one touchdown.

In fact, Ochocinco seemed quite out of place in New England, and never really meshed with the offensive system.

He was paid $6 million last season, and even restructured his deal to continue to stay on the team in 2012. But that time has obviously expired.

The Patriots added Brandon Lloyd, Jabar Gaffney and Donte Stallworth already for this upcoming season at the wide receiver position, so you wondered where Ochocinco might fit in. Now we do know.

Now, oddsmakers have formed several odds for Ochocinco and where he may end up for the 2012 NFL Season.

The first Chad Ochocinco Prop Line asks whether or not Ochocinco will be on a regular season roster for this NFL season, with the odds significantly favoring that he will, going off at -1000.

Then next line gets more specific, asking which team might pick him up. The Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys lead the way here, going off at 3/1 and 4/1 respectively.

The lines go all the way down to the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens at 8/1
