Week 4 of the NFL gets underway on Thursday night, when the Cleveland Browns take on the Baltimore Ravens in an AFC North showdown.
Of course, the NFL replacement refs might be the bigger storyline and the more watched facet of this game following the Monday Night Football debacle that took place in Seattle with the Packers losing to the Seahawks in a very controversial finish.
The the Ravens had one of those as well in their Sunday night win over the New England Patriots at home. A field-goal as time expired appeared to just go over the uprights, but it was close enough in which it likely warranted a review, or an explanation. But the rule stated that a ball going over the upright is not reviewable.
Unfortunately, the story of the NFL season has not been the games being played, but th officiating. So it only stands to reason that many will be wondering what to expect for this one.
Afterall, the ending for the Seahawks and Packers game shifted to Seattle covering the spread as opposed to Green Bay.
So how do oddsmakers see this one going?
Baltimore gets this game at home, and have been set as the assertive favorites in the game. Ravens vs Browns NFL Week 4 betting odds available at Bovada Sportsbook have set Baltimore as two-touchdown favorites over Cleveland in this divisional matchup. At the 14-point line, the Ravens will need to win by at least 15 points to cover. The Browns can cover this line with a loss by 13 points or less. Exactly a 14-point win by Baltimore will result in a push.
It will be fun to see Browns’ rookie running back Trent Richardson go up against this Baltimore front. Richardson has definitely shown some explosiveness through three games this season, but is still looking for more production with just 175 yards and two touchdowns. Cleveland will fall to 0-4 on the season with a loss, and would already be three games back in the AFC North.
