Kyle Busch Favored To Win Third Sprint Cup Race In Four Weeks As NASCAR Moves To Kansas For STP 400

Filed under: NASCAR Betting Odds |

STP 400Kyle Busch continued his assault on the 2013 Sprint Cup season over the course of the last several weeks, getting his second win in the last three races. It was a weekend sweep for Busch, who won both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup race for the second time this season already, and the seventh time in his career.

Now, Busch and the rest of the Sprint Cup Series moves to Kansas Speedway for the running of the STP 400.

The STP 400 has only been around since the 2011 season, with Brad Keselowski winning the first, and then Denny Hamlin winning the race last season.

With Hamlin still out, he is not in the mix this week though it is likely he would have been right near the top of the list of favorites to win in Kansas. As it stands though, two names who have been at the top of the betting lines in virtually every pre-race betting line it seems continue to be there. STP 400 betting odds available at Bovada Sportsbook have established Jimmie Johnson as an 11/2 favorite to get the victory on Sunday. Johnson has a couple of wins under his belt in 2013, and has led the betting odds to win nearly every race since his Daytona win.

Busch isn’t far behind though paying out 13/2 on the betting line to win. Buch certainly has the hot car with the multiple wins from the weekend, and will try to keep that momentum going.

We don’t get far down the line for Keselowski, who is the third-overall favorite, and the only past champion of this event in the field. Keselowski is paying out at 8/1 currently, which is tied with Greg Biffle on the payout.

Matt Kenseth rounds out the top-five favorites, installed at 17/2.

This is the first of two Sprint Cup races that will be held at Kansas Motor Speedway, with the second of two part of the Chase For The Sprint Cup. That would be the Hollywood Casino 400.

Coverage of the 2013 STP 400 will begin at 1pm ET on Fox this Sunday, April 21st. For the complete odds to win the race, LatestBettingOdds.com has listed them out below.
